Hive Design Studio have developed a sustainable & customisable housing typology as a solution for those looking to self build. The houses offer individually tailored design at a more affordable price than a traditional architect appointment.

The house models have been built with BIM (building information modelling) software, which allows alterations to be made quickly, efficiently and at little cost to the client.

Elements of the house such as cladding material, room dimensions and opening sizes/positions can be altered to fit with the client’s lifestyle or site specific features, such as particular vistas.

The houses are constructed from Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs) – a fast, accurate and energy efficient method of construction. More information about SIPs can be found here.

Currently, we have two, three and four bedroom options.
